Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Revisic, a tool for comparing revisions of engineering drawings, including the free demo at demo.revisic.com. By using the tool, you agree to them. Please read the highlighted clause — it is the important one for engineers.
1Who you are dealing with
Revisic is currently operated by its individual developer (“we”, “us”). A registered legal entity will be named here, together with governing-law details, before paid subscriptions open. Until then, these terms are an agreement between you and the operator of revisic.com. Contact: [email protected].
2What the tool does
Revisic accepts two PDF revisions, aligns the sheets across revisions (including views that moved, which you can match and compare in place), and produces a side-by-side report of what changed. It is a checking aid. It may miss changes, mis-match views, or report changes that are not significant. Treat its output as a starting point for your review, not a conclusion.
3The free demo
The demo at demo.revisic.com lets you compare one pair of revisions at a time, view the result in the browser (no export or download), with no account required. It is provided free of charge for evaluation. We may change, limit, or withdraw the demo at any time without notice.
4Paid subscriptions (not yet open)
Paid subscriptions are not yet on sale. You can leave your email on the Pricing page to be notified when they open. When sales open, the following will apply, and this section will be updated with the payment provider's own terms:
- Paid access is sold per the Pricing page through a payment provider, which handles the transaction and issues your access.
- A subscription is tied to a person, not a device. You may use it across your own machines within the concurrent-session limit of your tier.
- Do not share, resell, or sublicense your access. Abuse may result in access being revoked.
5Acceptable use
Upload only files you have the right to upload. Do not use the tool to break the law or to infringe others' rights, and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service. You are responsible for the content of the files you submit, including any confidentiality obligations you owe to clients or employers.
6Your files and privacy
Uploaded files are processed on a server in the EU, deleted automatically within 48 hours at most, and never used to train any model. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7Availability
The tool is in beta and is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation; features may change, and the service may be paused for maintenance. Do not rely on the tool as your only copy of any result — uploaded files and reports are deleted automatically (see section 6).
8Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on the tool's output, including errors or omissions in a comparison report. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including liability for intent or gross negligence where so provided). Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tool in the 12 months before the claim — which, while the tool is free, is zero.
9Refunds
This section applies once paid subscriptions open. Because the free demo lets you evaluate the tool before paying, paid purchases are generally non-refundable, except where consumer law in your country grants a mandatory withdrawal or refund right. If something is genuinely broken for your use case, email [email protected] and we will deal with it fairly.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the tool and its operating entity are finalised; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. For material changes that affect paying customers, we will give notice by email before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11Contact and disputes
Questions or complaints about these terms: [email protected]. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. Formal governing-law and venue provisions will be added together with the legal entity (section 1) before subscriptions open.
These terms apply during the pre-launch period and are provided in good faith. A finalised, jurisdiction-specific agreement will replace them before paid subscriptions open.
